Indian are crowned the Men’s Kabaddi World Cup champions after beating Pakistan 59-22. Retaining the men’s title of the Pearls Kabaddi World Cup for the third time. India’s Gagandeep Singh was the Best Raider and Eakm Hathur was the Best Stopper in this riveting match.
Indian team was in full control of the match since the beginning as at the end of first half the score between India-Pakistan was 33-9.
Pakistan team was unable to show its traditional performance. It lost the grip of the match totally in second half.
The Men’s Kabaddi World Cup final took place on Saturday, 15th December 2012 at the Guru Nanak Stadium in Ludhiana, Punjab, India.
For the third consecutive time, India were the victors winning Pakistan comfortably with a score of 59 versus Pakistan’s 22.
The tournament started on 1st December 2012 and was played at 13 venues across Punjab including, Yadvindra Public School Stadium (Patiala), Nehru Stadium (Rupnagar), Sports Stadium (Chohla Sahib, Tarn Taran), Government College Stadium (Gurdaspur), Sports Stadium (Bathinda) and Guru Gobind Singh Stadium (Jalandhar).
Winner team received 20 million rupees while runner-up 10 million.
